Senior executive specialized in sport, fitness and wellness, providing strategic and commercial advisory services to several government and private entities.
Cedric has worked in the health & fitness industry for more than 20 years and has extensive experience in all major territories including Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
He has worked with prestigious global brands such as the Jumeirah Group, Kerzner International, The Original Fit Factory, Dubai Future Foundation or Majid Al Futtaim.
In 2007 Cedric has been appointed by H.E Mohammad Al Gergawi (Minister of Cabinet Affairs) to establish the first comprehensive corporate wellness program in the Middle East for the 18,000 employees of Dubai Holding.
Cedric is a Member of the Dubai Future Council on Health & Wellbeing, an initiative launched by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, with the main objectives to foresight the future of the “health and wellbeing” sector in Dubai, launch innovative initiatives and turn ideas into reality.
In 2015, Cedric held the position of President - IHPM (Institute for Health & Productivity Management) for the UAE and since his move to Dubai in 2002 Cedric has been a Special Advisor on health & wellness for several UAE Ministers and some of the most influential dignitaries in the private and governmental sectors in Dubai.
Cedric Betis completed is Master’s Degree in Sports & Sciences at Montpellier University, France.
